Conflict with M33 Theme Editor

description

Take note of a conflict with Downlplays' Theme Editor (Modules/Orchard.Module.M33.Layout)

I follow the steps to apply the Layout Selector to the "Page" type:

Go to “Dashboard > Content”, “Content Types” tab, search for “Page” and edit.
Click “Add Parts” and select “Layout Selector” and click “Save”
“Save” the Page settings

On Creating a new page I receive the following error:

The model item passed into the dictionary is of type 'Downplay.Orchard.LayoutSelector.Models.LayoutSelectorPart', but this dictionary requires a model item of type 'M33.Layout.Models.LayoutSelectorPart'.

I am reporting this incase someone else hits the same problem.
I am not sure if there is something that can be done to make the two get along as both are great tools.

Thanks!

I had the exact same problem and had to delete the Layout Selector module. It actually worked at first but I installed from Gallery rather than Codeplex, then as soon as I was about to demo it to someone it stopped working and crashed causing me an embarrassing situation while trying to promote Orchard in my business environment.

I found, if you disable the Theme Editor, then error goes away. So I guess one has to chose use one or the other module, since they don't seem to play nice :-(
